Ziyang Meng is currently a tenured professor and PhD Supervisor at Tsinghua University. He is a recipient of National High-Level Talent Program, and a Fellow of IET. His research focuses on intelligent navigation and cooperative control of unmanned systems. He has published over 120 SCI journal papers and one monograph inSpringer. His works have received more than 9000 citations, and he is frequently selected as Elsevier Highly Cited Chinese Researcher. He serves as Vice Chair of IFAC TC 5.4 and Vice Director of the Big Data Technical Committee of Chinese Association of Automation. He holds more than 20 authorized invention patents, and several achievements have been transferred to industry. He has won seven science and technology awards including the First Prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award, and was awarded the Humboldt Research Fellowship and Beijing Outstanding Young Scientist Fund.
