On May 19, 2022, Zhixin Meng successfully defended his doctoral dissertation. The dissertation committee consisted of five distinguished professors and experts: Yonggui Dong (Tsinghua University), Wei Quan (Beihang University), Yuansheng Liu (The 13th Research Institute of the Ninth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation), Bin Zhou (Tsinghua University), and Haoyun Wei (Tsinghua University).

The defense proceeded smoothly, and the committee unanimously approved his doctoral dissertation defense, giving his research and presentation high praise.
