2022.9.21 Low-loss microwave photonics Link paper sharing and presentation of fiber-optic time synchronization research progress-Yufeng Chen

In this group meeting, the literature reading report of " Low-loss microwave photonics links using hollow core fibres" was made first. The paper, published in Light: Science & Applications, focused on the important advantages of using hollow core fiber instead of existing single-mode fiber in the simulated microwave photonics link. These advantages included lower dispersion, lower Kerr nonlinear effect, and effectively avoiding the limitation of stimulated Brillouin scattering. Then, Chen presented the recent research progress of fiber-optic time synchronization and the structure of the paper, the figures and the problems encountered in writing were discussed.
