The topic of this research group meeting is "Genetic-optimised aperiodic code for distributed optical fibre sensors". Read the article "Genetic optimised aperiodic code for distributed optical fibre sensors" published in nature communications. This paper proposes a coding method to improve the detection performance of distributed optical sensing, which is verified by experiments with Brillouin and Raman sensors. Furthermore, various methods of phase solution are discussed, and the feasibility of a new method is discussed.
