Dual-comb fiber Bragg grating strain sensing measurement
Broadband light is incident on the fiber Bragg grating (FBG), satisfying the Bragg condition for light reflection, the center wavelength of the reflected light is linearly related to the ambient temperature and applied strain. By using an optical frequency comb as a broadband light source incident on theBG, and simultaneously using another FBG as a reference arm to monitor and compensate for temperature changes, the center wavelength is demodulated using the dual-comb principle, accurate and rapid measurement of the applied strain.
