Guan Wang shares the work: "Fiber based Traffic Monitoring using Urban Fiber Link" on group meeting. We report a fiber-based method to detect traffic vibrations, obtain traffic flow information and analyze different traffic pattern during several special periods. We validate the method's authenticity by comparing it with traffic data from a navigation service. Besides, we demonstrate the advantage of new method in precision, anonymity and no authorization. The group members discuss the contents of report and provide valuable revision suggestions.
