The paper "Genetic-optimised aperiodic code for distributed optical fibre sensors" was shared in this group. The paper introduced the method of enhancing the intensity of back-scattered light and the signal-to-noise ratio of signal by using coding and decoding algorithms. In addition, the paper also shared the harvest from attending the Optical Fiber Sensing Conference in Guilin and the basic principle of coherent optical communication technology, and focused on the combination of coherent optical communication and phase-sensitive optical fiber vibration monitoring system. After the sharing, the team discussed the contents of the report and analyzed the problems and shortcomings.
