Dual-comb multi-degree-of-freedom pose measurement.
Precise measurement of position and attitude has wide applications in fields such as scientific research, space exploration, advanced manufacturing. Existing high-precision pose measurement methods are usually based on the principle of interferometric measurement, and this incremental measurement is limited in application in scenarios requiring positioning, such as tight satellite formation flying and satellite antenna measurement. The emergence of geometric measurement methods based on optical frequency combs has broken through the limitation of single-wavelength ambiguity, achieved absolute distance measurement, and possesses the advantages of dynamic high precision. In recent years, measurement methods based on optical frequency combs have also provided a new for the development of the attitude measurement field. This research group organically combined the diffraction characteristics of two-dimensional transmission gratings and the directional reflection characteristics of corner cube prisms, independently designed the grating corner cube as a six-degree-of-freedom measurement target mirror. Furthermore, taking dual-comb spectral phase high-precision measurement as key technology for decoupling six-degree-of-freedom parameters, combined with multi-dimensional diffraction beam spatial position detection, it achieved the calculation of six-degree--freedom position and attitude information using a single passive probe. The position measurement accuracy reaches the nanometer level, the angle measurement accuracy reaches the sub-arcsecond, and it possesses the comprehensive performance advantages of a large non-ambiguity range, a compact target mirror, and long-distance working capability.
