On November 19, 2024, the winners of the World Internet Conference Leading Science and Technology Award were announced. The Tianmou neuromorphic complementary vision chip, jointly developed by Professor Luping Shi’s team, Lingxi Technology and CEC Hikvision, won the award in the Basic Research category. It is the world’s first chip of its kind, with relevant research published as a cover story in Nature. Previously, the team was awarded the First Prize of Beijing Natural Science Award, marking that China’s neuromorphic intelligent technologies rank among the world’s top tiers.
