Honors

The team led by Professor Luping Shi from Tsinghua University won the 2024 First Prize of Beijing Natural Science Award for the project "Basic Theories and Architectures of Heterogeneous Integrated Neuromorphic Computing". The team proposed the completeness theory of neuromorphic computing, and developed the world’s first heterogeneous integrated neuromorphic chips, Tianjic and Tianmou, forming a complete independent technology system. Their research results were featured on the cover of Nature twice, propelling China’s underlying research on neuromorphic intelligence to the international forefront.
